Neighborhood Workshop on Astrophysics and Cosmology - Part II

Workshop Description

The Center for Theoretical and Observational Cosmology of the Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos at Penn State will host an informal neighborhood workshop on Astrophysics and Cosmology beginning Thursday, April 3 through noon or so on Friday, April 4, 2014.

We would like to provide a way for faculty, students and postdocs to meet each other, exchange ideas and hear what research people are most excited about. Participating institutions are:

Talks will be short and informal with a strong preference for blackboard presentations and discussions. The specific topics are flexible since the aim of the meeting is to explore the most interesting and active areas of research. Everyone is welcome to speak, and we will give a prize for the best student presentation.

Registration

There is no registration fee. However, because of limited seating capacity, all participants must register by March 1, 2014.

The workshop will be held in S-5 Osmond Lab on the Penn State University Park campus.
